Primot™

Primot is a vertical script heavily influenced by italian “gelaterias”. After releasing 3 sans-serifs, we were looking for a fun learning opportunity. We started playing with brush lettering and looking into vintage scripts from different eras. Some cool things that made it into Primot were some unusual vertical connections and the sweet brush flairs in the letter endings.

Periplus

font family

I got rhythm, I got music, I got my swirls, who could ask for anything more?

Periplus is quite an eccentric type, full of twists and nice oddities here and there.

It is an all-caps font with 2 variations for each letter and number, stored at upper- and lower-case slots.

For added amusement, every letter got not 1 or 2, but 4 swash variations. One can be reached through the OpenType swash feature: just select the letter and hit the swash button. The other ones you will access through a glyphs palette. All of them are neatly organized with the ‘access all alternates’ feature.

The font is yet equipped with some stylistic alternates and ornaments.

Have fun!

Pilcrow Soft

font family

Pilcrow Soft is a Latin-script sans serif family. Its design is simple and utilitarian, similar to forms found on street and highway signs around the world – or in-use on cast-metal lettering for industrial products. The fonts are available in two versions: straight-cornered and rounded. While the normal Pilcrow fonts have sharp corners at their stroke terminals, Pilcrow Soft’s have been filed down. Pilcrow and Pilcrow Soft each include five weights: Regular through Heavy. In keeping with the design’s mechanical nature, the family does not include Italics, as Pilcrow’s style of letter fits better with typographic hierarchies using contrasting weights to define emphasis, whereas Italics use slants or a cursive stroke pattern.
